Error codes

All services use the same error codes to indicate something went wrong with your request.

HTTP Status codes

400
Bad Request

Required parameters are missing or invalid. Please refer to the Parameters and Example section of the specific request to check where it goes wrong.

403
Forbidden

The request is coming from an IP-address that is not on the account's IP-address whitelist. View and change your whitelist in the Dashboard (paid plans only).

500
Internal Server Error

Uh-oh. Please contact us.

503
Service Unavailable

The service is temporarily unavailable. This will be resolved automatically within the SLA.

Body status codes

Despite a successful request, our services can't guarantee a correct response due to variables like user input. We handle those cases with a status field in the body of the JSON-response. It can have the following values:
